Welcome to Newmore House

Newmore House Newmore House is an imposing Victorian mansion designed by Alexander Ross and built in 1875 from local quarried stone.

Sited on Rising ground a mile or two from Invergordon, the facade is south facing and overlooks farmland, woods and the Cromarty Firth, with Black Isle beyond.

The Sutors and the Moray Firth are also in sight. The view is stimulating, with all year round activity on the farms and the firth. Ship and Rig movements provide a constantly changing scene. The grounds, compromising some 4.2 acres, are copiously wooded but include more than one acre of lawns for recreation; active or passive.
